   The fortnightly calling pattern for the previous bill period of the disputed bill period and succeeding bill period will be collected for comparison. The outdoor field officers will check the outdoor lines and visit the sub office to know whether any functions held during the disputed period. Also the field officers will advise the subscriber to use Dynamic Lock in each and every occasion of using telephone to make calls
   
   
9. Is itemised billing option available for consumers of BSNL in Kayalpattinam?
   
   The STD/ISD calls details will be furnished along with the bill
   
   
10. What are the monthly/bimonthly charges for availing detailed bill option under Kayalpattinam Exchange?
    
    Any detailed billed option can be had only from the Accounts Officer (Billing), O/o GM, BSNL, Tuticorin. There is no charge for detailed bill option
    
    
11. What are the details provided in the Itemised Bill? Do you provide Local Call details (the number called, date of call, duration of call)?
    
    Reply sames as for Question no.10. Local call details will not be included in itemised bill
    
    
12. If the itemised billing statement doesn't include details about local calls made, how can you satisfy a consumer about his/her complaint about excess billing?
    
    BSNL introduced a non-metered telephone number 19621 (English) and 19622 (Tamil) to know the instantaneous meter reading. A consumer can know the metered units by dialing the above number from his telephone number for each and every call whether it may be a local call or STD/ISD calls
    
    
13. For any billing cycle, till the Bill is prepared, where is the data related to all calls made in Kayalpattinam stored? Is it Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange or is it in Tuticorin/Madurai?

    Data of STD/ISD calls, 95 calls, cell phone calls will be stored by the software. The local calls details will not be stored

16. With relation to complaint filed in November 2005 by the consumer of number XXXXXX of Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange, why no written replies have been given so far and no printed call details (as requested) given till date?
    
    On receipt of written complaint from the sub of KYP XXXXXX, the Sub Division Engineer, External and Junior Telecom Officer, External along with the Section Telecom Mechanic visited the Sub's office and met the subscriber of XXXXXX. The frequently called cell numbers were informed to the subscriber. The Sub was advised to use Dynamic Lock and use 19621/19622 to know the instantaneous meter reading. Since the Sub was not aware how to use Dynamic Lock, the details of using Dynamic Lock have been explained
