IIM Baithulmaal was founded in 1993 to help the needy. It focusses on providing aid to the sick, for
education, to start small businesses, build shelter etc.
It accepts Zakath, Sadaka and other voluntary
contributions.
Annually it disburses about Rs.2.5 lakhs and has disbursed nearly Rs.25 lakhs since
its foundation to the needy in Kayalpatnam.
